The Senior Experience—A Career Starting Point for Journalism and Communication Majors

  • Offered fall (September-December) and spring (April-June) quarters of the academic year
  • Approximately 10 to 15 students admitted per qualifying term
  • Job placement or internship extension rate is nearly 60 percent
  • 60 students in five terms have participated.
  • Internships are 10 weeks to six months in duration.
  • Interested participants must provide a résumé, cover letter and portfolio.
  • Applications for spring 2010 are due Nov. 11, 2009 to Bil Morrill—Allen Hall, Room 100
